About the Marketing Team

As a part of the larger marketing team at Mixpanel, this role will sit within the Global Demand Generation team. The team is responsible for planning, creating, and launching global campaign strategies across multiple marketing channels, to generate and acquire demand in our target audience. 

About the Role

Mixpanel’s global demand generation team is seeking a versatile Performance Marketing Manager who is ready to drive our global paid media strategy and create a predictable growth engine. This person will be responsible for Mixpanel’s global SEM and paid social channels, while managing a paid media agency for day-to-day execution support. 

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a product-led growth company, has hands-on experience managing global paid accounts, use insights-driven strategies to optimize campaigns and report to external stakeholders on ROI. They also have a strong background working with cross-functional partners like marketing operations, marketing analysts, data engineering and campaign managers to launch programs. 


  • Own and drive a full-funnel, global paid media strategy (Google, FB, LI, TW, Reddit, etc) that supports global and regional campaign strategies
  • Oversee and optimize a multimillion dollar global paid media budget; evaluate and track key success metrics across channels, and create a forecast on the profitability and lead volume of marketing campaigns.
  • Understand where our ICP is online and create the right audience targeting strategies to reach them through our digital channels — using in-depth knowledge of SEM and paid social platforms to ensure best practices on audience targeting strategies, conversion tracking, and regional nuances.
  • Partner with the performance marketing analyst to build a robust paid media tracking program to get insight into global channel performance and CRO.
  • Create best practices to streamline reporting processes and drive effective communications to get information to the right stakeholders in a timely manner.

We're Looking for Someone Who Has

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in B2B SaaS marketing, managing a global paid advertising program, PLG is a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of paid media channels (Google AdWords/Display, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Reddit, Rollworks, etc).
  • Proven experience creating and scaling a paid media program globally, with strong analytical skills, and the ability to analyze large amounts of data, identify trends, pursue the most important questions, and action on those insights.
  • Is a collaborator and self-starter with outstanding organizational skills who can drive strategies projects from start to finish.
  • Experience managing a paid media agency to help bring a demand strategy to life.
  • Knowledge of marketing technology tools like Marketo, Salesforce, WordPress, Google Analytics, etc.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, high growth business environment and adapts with the organization as it scales
