Manager, Growth Marketing & Paid Media (contract)

Neura Health is a seed-stage, venture-backed startup focused on improving access to and quality of care for neurological conditions.

Neura Health has funding from Next Play Ventures (the fund of former LinkedIn CEO Jeff Weiner), Index Ventures (Figma, Robinhood) and Norwest Venture Partners (Calm, Talkspace), among others.

In summer 2021, we launched our first app with the goal of providing best-in-class care for people with headache disorders, and we have plans to expand to other neurological conditions in the future.

Our platform delivers better outcomes while reducing costs because we take a comprehensive approach. We support our patients with:

  • Personalized treatment via video visits with a neurologist specializing in headache medicine
  • Access to a headache tracker to identify their personal triggers and trends
  • Unlimited online chat with a dedicated care team, including a concierge and care coach, in addition to neurologist
  • Care coaching video visits to provide support and adherence to care plan along their journey toward relief

For the past year we have been focused on driving direct-to-consumer growth, and are looking for a growth expert with deep experience in digital health, in a consumer and B2B subscription business.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this contract growth marketer will play a key role in our ambitious plans to scale both our direct-to-consumer and B2B businesses. Right now the focus will primarily be consumer acquisition (Google, Facebook) but we expect to grow into targeting B2B audiences (executives at health systems, insurance companies, and other doctors) via channels like LinkedIn and Doximity in the near future as well.

We are interested in working with someone who might want to join us full-time in the future, but we’d like to start this as a contract role to assess mutual fit.

The ideal candidate:

  • Has 3+ years of experience with digital media including paid search and paid social.
  • Excels at full-funnel, multi-channel consumer acquisition strategy
  • Is familiar with the latest in measurement, attribution, and ad management tools and is an expert in Google Analytics
  • Is flexible and able to reprioritize while operating within a fluid, fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with a determination to meet deadlines
  • A critical and creative problem solver - many of the challenges we face are unique to digital health and the conditions we treat

You will:

  • Build and manage online marketing strategies and perform daily optimization of paid search campaigns (we do not have agencies or vendors so you would be running this all yourself, with support from design as needed)
  • Lead A/B testing strategy and execution, identifying actionable opportunities to improve CAC
  • Launch and scale new channels, with an eye toward lowering overall customer acquisition costs
  • Create weekly and monthly reports to communicate results of channels, CAC, tests and key initiatives
