We were founded in January 2022, and have been growing rapidly ever since. Strider's mission is to connect the world's top, remote talent to the best international jobs. Our team is around 30 people, with most of the team based in the Americas. We're early enough that you'll be able to make a huge impact on company and its trajectory, yet we're far enough along to have clear product-market fit.

About the role

We're looking to bring on our first marketing hire, a part-time Head of Marketing, on a contract basis to help set strategy, execute marketing campaigns, and drive inbound leads. We plan to open this up as a full-time role in the near future, so there is potential for this to be a contract-to-hire opportunity.


  • Set marketing strategy together with the CEO and co-founder
  • Identify marketing channels that deliver best ROI and lowest CAC
  • Execute marketing strategies and measure results
  • Drive inbound leads of technology companies who want to hire tech talent (primarily developers) internationally
  • Use, improve, and optimize upon our marketing tech stack (Hubspot currently)

What we're looking for and why

  • Ability to set marketing strategy - we want want someone who can decide which channels and methods to use to most efficiently generate inbound leads
  • Willingness to be hands-on - we're a relatively small team of around 30 people and need people who are willing to make individual contributions
  • Based in the Americas - our team is remote, international, and based in the Americas so we prefer someone in similar timezones
  • Experience owning a number - we're very results oriented and want someone who's accustomed to owning an inbound lead commit
  • Extensive experience marketing to US-based tech companies - we work with mostly US and Canadian tech companies so we'd like someone who knows how to reach them
