Harmony Venture Labs (HVL) is looking for a Growth Marketer who can combine technical, analytical, and marketing skills to help drive our studio businesses forward.

As the Growth Marketer, you will be responsible for the marketing strategy and execution of studio projects (Business to business SaaS).


  • Developing, testing, and iterating on strategies to grow the studio portfolio companies you’re responsible for.
  • Providing best practices and strategies for our EIRs (entrepreneurs-in-residence).
  • Fostering and supporting a culture of experimentation across Harmony Venture Labs.
  • Owning and executing on your ideas – from crafting the messaging to launching campaigns.
  • Measuring, tracking, and providing detailed reporting on individual experiments and the impact of our growth marketing efforts.
  • Analyzing customer data and external research to inform our growth strategies and tactics.

Do you enjoy applying systems thinking to problems? Do you get excited about running experiments and optimizing processes to get the best performance possible? Are you as comfortable crafting a marketing strategy as you are diving into the data?

You’ll need expertise in several of the following areas: 

  • Organic Marketing: You understand SEO strategy and best practices, and how to use content to effectively drive traffic. You can launch and grow online communities.
  • Paid Advertising: You need to have a strong understanding of paid advertising in either display (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) and/or search marketing (Google Ads, etc.).
  • Partnerships/Affiliate or Referral Marketing
  • Statistical Testing and Conversion Rate Optimization: You understand the principles and mathematical concepts behind statistical testing and are comfortable with A/B and multivariate testing methodologies. You have experience analyzing the performance of funnels, campaigns, marketing tactics, and experiments. You are able to develop hypotheses from this analysis to inform future strategies and test ideas. Google Analytics is a close friend.
  • Project Management: You are able to prioritize and manage projects, while clearly communicating goals and progress along the way. You are hands-on and prioritize getting things done. Launching things to collect learnings is important to you. You understand how to implement and improve a system for growth across the entire customer lifecycle. You can design experiments and campaigns grounded in marketing principles that leverage various channels and tactics.
  • Expertise in some or all of the following tools or similar solutions: Google Analytics, Hotjar, Hubspot, Pendo, Unbounce, Woopra, Zapier, Drift/Intercom.
  • Familiarity with HTML and Javascript is a huge plus.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience owning and executing growth marketing strategies
  • B2B SaaS industry experience 
  • Wide breadth of experience in demand generation across multiple channels with near expertise in one or more channels
  • Within driving distance of Birmingham, AL
