Founding Growth Lead

Kudos is looking for our Founding growth lead to define and execute on our growth strategy. As our first growth hire, you will work closely with the rest of our founding team in a critical role that will span almost every aspect of the business including paid, content, community, product-led growth levers, and much more, as we iterate towards finding and scaling our initial growth engine. As a founding member of the company, you will be an owner that helps build a healthy foundation that will drive our scale for years.

Our vision at Kudos is to build the most personalized and consumer-centric smart wallet ever - The banking industry has made credit cards daunting and we want to simplify the space for consumers as they do things like make everyday purchases or look for new credit cards that align their wallets to the way they spend. Our first product is a browser extension that automatically picks and autofills the card that maximizes credit card rewards and hidden benefits like ‘purchase protection’ and ‘extended warranty’ at the point of sale. Kudos works with 3000 cards on over 1 million merchant sites.

Kudos is a venture-backed company with funding from many tier 1 venture capital funds, including Patron, SciFi VC (founder of PayPal), QED Investors (founder of Capital One), Precursor VC, SV Angel, and a number of top fintech/consumer angels.

Job Description

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing on a playbook to find a sustainable growth engine, informed by data analytics and customer insights. Measuring marketing effectiveness as well as creating a culture of structured customer-centric experimentation and iteration to drive growth.
  • Working closely with the rest of the founding team to build out product-led growth levers that aid customer acquisition, retention and monetization.


  • The most important requirement is being entrepreneurial and willing and able to talk to customers, analyze our growth funnel and work closely with the founders and engineering team to run multiple experiments as we iterate on our growth playbook.
  • Extra Kudos if you have experience driving leading growth at an early stage company (or personal venture) and driving consumer growth at low CAC.
