E-commerce Site Manager

Tea Drops is seeking to hire a data-driven, analytical and highly motivated D2C ecommerce site manager. This person will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence of our ecommerce store, providing a top-notch customer experience while helping to meet the ecommerce growth plan. You will be in charge of managing and maintaining our ecommerce stores day-to-day as well as diving deep into analytics to find pockets of opportunity to drive the business forward. This person is an analytical mastermind and a detail oriented thinker who is results driven and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. This person will have a background and history in D2C ecommerce, have experience with subscriptions and have an ability to manage agencies and teams and be able to successfully collaborate cross-functionally, thinking outside of the box and bringing new ideas to the table. A deep knowledge and understanding of the capabilities of eCommerce as well as product management tools, search tools, personalization tools and measurement tools to build out the online experience and measure it is critical. This person will join a small team (12 FT employees) and will report to the VP of Marketing.. The right candidate is a resourceful, hungry and driven individual who loves and embraces tea culture.

Ecommerce Manager:

  • Manage day-to-day operations and responsibilities on myteadrop.com, including creative updates and on-site merchandising, product pages, collections pages, holiday page etc through the Shopify Plus platform
  • Assist in Managing our ecommerce store, implementing front-end (non-code to light code) updates for product pages, landing pages, collection pages, SEO, and troubleshooting necessary fixes
  • Establish detailed A/B testing processes to test creative design, content, cadence, and timing to improve performance in our ecommerce store; own, manage and execute A/B testing to find ways to drive stronger business performance
  • Find ways to improve our site experience to grow and maintain subscriptions
  • Support acquisition marketing team in improving efficiency from improvements in the site experience
  • Ensure the site is set up and tagged properly and own the funnel analysis as well as the user behavior analysis, finding optimization opportunities to improve conversion rate and the over customer experience
  • Manage our developers and work collaboratively internally to prioritize projects while staying on budget
  • Manage the SEO agency, working to grow this channel with quality traffic and find ways to improve CVR
  • Manage the UTM, promo code and other tracking process and ensure that it is being implemented across channels to ensure tracking; lead the reporting of this tracking
  • Develop and own goals and performance metrics, tracking campaign budgets and monitoring campaign KPI's to understand effectiveness of strategies and identify opportunities for improvement and recommend in-campaign optimizations on a continuous basis
  • Own and manage the ecommerce tech stack, finding ways to improve our overall efficiency and overall customer experience
  • Monitor the site at all times and own maintenance to ensure the site is running
  • Support the marketing team in digging into customer analytics and other data to better understand customer behavior, business trends etc


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, economics and/or relevant field of study
  • Ability to work independently and to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Be data-driven with sharp analytical skills; ability to gather data in order to inform major decisions and translate performance data into actionable insights using quantitative analysis
  • Extremely driven, have a love for ecommerce as well as data analysis
  • Basic knowledge of CSS and HTML
  • Experience with a successful D2C company; startup mentality, adaptable, and strong work ethic
  • At least 4-5 years of Ecommerce industry experience
  • Proven track record of achieving goals and KPI’s
  • Experience in digital marketing campaigns
  • Proficient in Shopify, Google Analytics, Use behavior analytics tools like CrazyEgg, HotJar, FullStory etc. and data layer analytics tools like Elevar
  • Experience with subscriptions and Recharge
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g. Daasity, Google Keyword Planner, SEM Rush, Google Analytics and other measurement platforms) and a track record of using them to extract actionable insights
  • Solid knowledge of ecommerce tech stack applications and tools like Rebuy, A/B testing platforms, Optimization tools, JustUno, etc
  • Expert in all things Google Analytics. Google Data Studio, Google Tag Manager
  • Has an understanding and ability to use data visualization tools and extract and analyze data from databases like CDP’s, etc
  • Experience with headless commerce a plus
