Haekka is reinventing Security Awareness Training by continuously engaging employees with relevant training triggered by real world actions in SaaS apps, something we call event-driven training (EVDT). We have great investors, early product traction, customer case studies, and we are now looking to accelerate our growth as we bring EVDT to market.

We operate 100% remotely (even when we aren’t in a global pandemic). Wherever you want to be located in order to be successful, that is fine with us. Our culture is built around action and outcomes. Who we are looking for

We want to bring on a motivated, digital marketer to help us build our brand, educate the market about EVDT, and drive more inbound leads and traffic to our digital properties. Your job will be to populate and nurture our pipeline with highly qualified leads.

This person will be measured on the following KPIs:

  • Customer growth in the form of conversations (leads, calls, emails, demos, etc.)
  • Followers and engagement on social media
  • Website and social media traffic

That means reaching as many people as possible through a variety of channels and strategies — content, referrals, backlinks, ads, virtual and in-person events, webinars, partnerships, and social media. It also means helping to build brand awareness about Haekka and EVDT.

You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with both Haekka co-founders on strategies, tactics, and KPIs.

Given that we are early, the right person will take initiative, be creative, be open to experimentation, and have flexibility as tactics can change week to week or even day to day. We do not know what repeatable growth looks like yet. We have early validation and paying customers and will use this data as a basis for building a repeatable flywheel of inbound growth. You get to own this for us.


  • Fantastic communication skills — both written and spoken.
  • Ability to craft compelling pitches. We want you to be able to sell our product better than we can.
  • Ability to translate features into effective go-to-market strategies, messaging, and ads.
  • Craft and own compelling launch strategies for product features and releases.
  • A track record of success using a mix of paid and organic digital marketing strategies.
  • Interpretation of product feedback and ability to communicate that internally to help our product and engineering team build the best product possible.
  • Excel at working independently. We can’t stress this one enough. You must be able to work with little to no supervision.
  • Experience with digital marketing and social media.
  • Success in growing a B2B SaaS product.
  • Ability to hustle, get scrappy, and produce results (KPIs above) at whatever costs. We’re an extremely small and young startup. This will be as much your business as it is ours.
  • Success working in a high growth company.
